Apple tree wood
    #1188943 - 01/03/03 11:01 PM (14 years, 11 months ago)

I have a couple of apple trees in my back yard. I was wondering if my prunings would make sutable substrate for wood loving edibles? If so would the bark need to be removed? I was thinking of cutting up the smaller limbs into 1-2" sections and innoculate with grain spawn.

Apple wood is great for azures and cyans. You don't need to remove the bark.
