Ok here's a hypothetical situation. A guy has 4 casings that have been ready to birth for about 2 days, but he's moving. 2 to 3 days from now he will have a terrarium to put them in but for now they have to sit out in the car inside the non functional incubator w. temps that will be highs in the 60's and lows in the 30's. Should he just leave em in the car at the mercy of the temps OR get an inverter and plug up the incubator adjusting it to about 65 or so, so the mycelium won't grow anymore, this would only need to be done if temps in the 30's would harm the casings. Also, if one were to leave a bag of dried shrooms out in the cold and the temp was around 33, would it harm them?? Thanks!!!!!

I think if you just wrap them in a couple of blankets they should be alright.

No, it wouldn't harm them, I've heard of people storing dried shrooms in the freezer.
