I know for a fact that black people are smarter than white people. To many it appears what whites are superior in regards to intelligence; this is not the truth. The whole of society is biased towards 'white thinking' therefore whites thrive more easily. However, black people are infinitely smarter.

Well I had the opportunity to live with and play with blacks and they made racist jokes about themselves all the time, made jokes about me and tolerated mine about them. They knew what the intent was and that's what counts. Sticks and stones my friend. It's the acts that count. I will continue to joke about anything and everything if it feels right to me. Someone comes in this forum and says that neither bacteria or virus cause illness but magic does.
What would you say.
I would say, no do some reading.
If he responded by telling me to do likewise I would say "I am a doctor"
By saying this I am establishing that I have already done the reading.
That guy comes off just as clueless to me as a guy who thinks that gypsy curses cause illness.

what i like most about what you are saying is that i know the psychological aspects of it and you know the deeper changes within molecular organisms and brain chemicals.

Regardless it was still the person that made the decision, the decision was the direct result of awareness and not the brain. The range of human experiences will all correlate with different corresponding brain chemistry but it would be foolish to say they are caused by the brain as they are caused by the self. It would be wrong for one to assume the colour red can exist as anything but an experience. Sure colour is created from the electro magnet spectrum (mathematical data I guess you could say) as well as the brain, but colour is pure experience with its own qualities which the human mind delights in experiencing. We are pure experience, to say the mind has no affect on the brain requires this assumption; your existence has no implications.

I remember seeing the doctor phil show awhile ago and he was talking about violent men that make poor decisions. How there brain scans actually showed how the areas of the brain associated with these decions were not active. By this he determines its not the persons fault and its predetermined via genetics. I say this is a robbery of the human spirit. Of course those centres of the brain are not active hes not using them! It's not that he cannot use them its just that he does not, effect mistaken for cause.

Exactly, cause and effect.
We experience that we have intent before we act. I will admit that this is a bit of evidence for intent causing action, although it is simply a correlation and would not put it in the 'proof' category.
But experiencing intent before action tells us nothing about whether brain dynamics cause intent or whether intent causes brain dynamics. What information do you have that makes you think that intent causes brain dynamics?

It doesn't necessarily have to be the result of intent just perception. For instance, say you were to be stressing all night about an exam you have the following day. Upon waking you will probably feel very tired and you would do anything to go back to sleep. Then you hear its a snowday, the exam is cancelled, your perception of what the day has in store for you has just radically changed. All of a sudden you can't get back to sleep and you have energy, you are excited about the day. Your brain chemistry would also change with the change in your perception. The change in perception occured first and has affected the brain. The mind is a system of perceiving with its own dynamics.
