Just so people know spores are only illegal in 3 states here in the USA, since the spores do not contain Psilocybin or Psilocin! Here are the states that they are illegal - California, Georgia and Idaho! So who ever thinks they are there not!

Really only illegal in two states.
Georgia and Idaho. In California they can be used for study, however none can be shipped into California.

Hey All, I'm midway through my first PF TEK grow and just began my 2nd, and my question is this: How long should I wait after a flush to dunk/roll again and what environment should the cake be in after a flush has exhausted? I have been leaving the cake(s) in fruiting conditions for up to 5 days after said flush is harvested before dunking, and compared to dunking immediately after harvesting I see no real difference in time between a 2nd or 3d flush, just looking for experienced opinions. I also seem to be getting 1 or 2 big fruits (28g+ wet)on a 2nd flush, the other 20-30 fruits tiny/aborted/rotten. Do I have big, mutant fruits sucking up all the life from my cake? I plan to move to rye or WBS after this 2nd grow...Thank you all...And to CH Hell, I described a wet/dirt like smell in my quarantine FC that you say is Trich, but the 1 cake has fruited amazingly and his 2 neighbors are following suit. I have not spotted any green bastard on these cakes, but the smell is different from my other FC (smells like healthy button mushrooms) and destroyed 2 trich cakes from that environment, with no new contams. Thank You Z

For the dunking as soon as the first flush is harvested dunk it and you don't roll it again. Large fruit will use allot of energy from the cakes and the other fruits stall or abort so don't pick them unless you are sure they aborted. The dirt smell could just be your perlite, but cobweb and trich have a dirt like smell. CH

Thank You CH Hell as always, you da man!
Upon further research in the past week, I have decided that the funky smell was Cobweb mold (Saw a silvery, Grey color on the top of my cake. I sprayed ALL cakes, perlite,FC thrice with pure hydrogen peroxide and heard the sizzle for rizzle for at least 30 seconds, but have not resprayed since. I assumed the pins/fruits with black, fuzzy heads have aborted and harvested them, the next pinset seems to be coming in ahead of schedule whist I decide who is aborted and who's not. Once they get to growing, it's hard to figure out who is who anymore...So I dunk after harvest now, Thank You again Hell Z

Sounds like you have a good grasp of things now Z. If you still smell the "dirt" give it another H2O2 spray and if you hear any sizzle give it another spray 12 hours later. Always dunk after each flush complete harvest other wise I think you are ready to start posting on the cultivation board. CH

No Noobie Shroomie I did not send for you! I was referring to myself; the stupid noob who's been using computers for twenty years now but can't seem to navigate his way through a goddamn message board! Yet I can grow mushrooms apparently. But your input has always been helpful and welcome to me, so thanks, wondered what happened to you. And thanks for the link 13Shrooms, checkin' out now, ready for grain or wbs i think...I ask one more question here, i believe i am experiencing overlay on some cakes, this bumpy, yet fluffy looking myc is colonizing my casing layer and verm pile on the top of said cakes. It's soft and fluffy; removed some with a tweezers to see if it bruised or turned into a fast spreading trich that i have recently experienced in the same chamber. Smells like mushrooms...things that make you go hmmmmmmmm... Thank you, Z

Could be normal but it sounds like the RH is low and the myc is looking for moister. CH

Thank you as always for the reassurance Noobieshroomie, things look and smell ok, I figured it was healthy myc but how would i know? As far as humidity goes CH Hell, it may have dropped a bit. My digital hygro/thermometer has read 88% for over a week where I was used to seeing it read 90-91%, but I hear that these are known for being inaccurate compared to analog hygros. I was running a small cool-mist for about 4 hours a day in intervals, but ceased due to laziness and advisement's against room humidifiers. Also, the ambient temp is between 74-78F because i have new jars colonizing in the same room. The cat closet is attached to this room, is that where my trich came from, poopy kitties? Z

Trich is tricky...lol No but seriously you can pick up trich spores anywhere it is hard to tell where they come from(unless you never leave your house). The cat box I don't think would be a problem as long as your FC isn't sitting on the floor, but like I said trich can come from anywhere. CH
