...why'd they vote for him?
He ran as a fiscally responsible centrist, the media let him and enough independents were fooled. Not anymore.

Today's DFA poll shows that of all the people who voted for both Obama and Brown, three out of five voted for Brown because they had wanted a public option and of the Obama voters who stayed home, 80% wanted a public option.

I'd love to know how many of the deadbeats that voted for Obama, want public option, and didn't bother to get out and vote in this election are lifelong unemployed welfare recipients.

I doubt it, considering that the vast majority of uninsured Americans make too much money to qualify for Medicaid. Otherwise they would already have insurance.
Unless you are a trust fund kid or you firmly believe that you are a future John Galt, I don't see why you would want to shit on the middle class.

Many of the so-called uninsured do qualify for medicare but haven't enrolled. Then there are the many millions who could afford it but think it is financially stupid. Like it is for pretty much every young single person. Choice, Komrade, choice.Quote:

How is expecting them to pay for what they receive shitting on them? Where does that end? Are they being shit on by making them pay for their own cars and homes, Komrade?

It's a simple fact that the American health insurance industry is in the business of not providing healthcare. Their favorite trick, rescission, boils down to denying people what they paid for.
And we are told that anyone who thinks this is a scam is a nazi communist. We are also told that those of us who would prefer to pay into a system that does the same damn thing with no administrative overheads or bonuses are, likewise, nazi communists.
I myself can only afford health insurance for catastrophic events. Minor things, I simply go without treatment. Anything in between and I am financially ruined. No one in any other industrialized nation has to worry about such things.
That's why we're best in the world, baby!

You are correct in the first assertion and false in the second. They haven't made any attempt to end my coverage, nor have they raised my rates more than anyone else and I've had 3 cancers. As long as you pay your bills I don't think they can cut you off. And they've paid everything their contract says they should.Quote:

No you haven't been told that. But you are a fool if you think there woyld be no overhead or administrative costs. Do you thnk government employees work for free? Do you think they will apporve anyhting you ask for without checking?Quote:

Ruined? How so? At what cost does your catastrophe kick in? $20,000. That will ruin you for the rest of your life? How bizarre. And sad.Quote:

Well, it's not why you are, anyway. Why should I pay for your cold medicine? I don't even like you.

Yes. Pray tell, what government program is run with no administrative overheads? Of course I'm sure the Feds would never pay bonuses to anyone though.
Oh!!! Wait!!!
Wait again!!!
Wait a bit longer!!!
Still waiting!!!
I can't take all this waiting!!!
