Greenish Blue on top of PF cake.
    #1184886 - 01/02/03 09:27 AM (21 years, 2 months ago)

I birthed my first cake about a week and a half ago and everything seamed fine, I had several fat boys growing, until yesterday when I noticed a small green spot on the top of the cake. Then today it was much bigger, I picked the good zoomers off the cake and tossed it right after as I didn't want to affect the rest of the cakes. Could it have been a bruised spot or mold? Let me know how or why something like this generally happens.

did you moist the walls of your terrarium? if yes maybe some water drops fell on the cake and made it to bruise!
if it was green mold it should smell shitty. did it?

it didn't smell bad at all and it was more of a greenish blue color then just green. There is water on the sides and top of my terrarium as well so it is possable that water did drip on the cake. The other question is then if it was just a bruise then are the zoomers from this cake ok to eat?

the shrooms could be a little soggy but yes they are safe.
if water drops fall on pins they usually rot though
