Can i replant or graft these lophs ?
    #11858066 - 01/19/10 06:55 AM (14 years, 2 months ago)

i was given these by a friend before a meeting on saturday. I was gonna eat them after midnight water rolled around but i really was already feeling good and decided to hold on to them. I was just wondering if i could either replant or graft these guys since they are just the tops. if i were to graft would i need to make some kind of cut into the tissue underneath? let me know guys. thanks.

just stick them in some dry soil and they will root.

please don't eat them. but please do grow them.

You can try to re-root them or graft them.

If you try grafting you will need to make a very thin slice off the bottom in order to expose fresh/wet tissue.

I wouldn't risk that, and just let em root naturally. How did you acquire them??? Were you in a Native American Peyote eating ritual???

KGB these were a gift. I was at a Church meeting and a friend of mine gave em to me before the ceremony started. I was going to pray with those during the meeting but i had alread prayed with a good bit of medicine. I decided afterwards i was gonna try and root em or save them to pray with another day. Now that grafting is an option i may get a good root stock prepped to try it out on one of them.

Why do lophs look so appetizing?

I just wanna take a bite into one like an apple or something.

they certainly are juicy like an apple. i have heard that there is a variety of peyote from somewhere in the mexican desert that tastes like pears. unfortunately that isn't the kind that made its way to me.

Nothing at all, because it would take at least 8 or more to get a trip from what I've heard.

:ilold:

i personally want to set about 6 or 7 aside. for a man who said would never hurt one i feel the trade off would be a reall religious experience. frankly i lost faith in what i used to believe and i want a different religion not so demanding. :bow2: the inner god.

8 is not really a lot. thats what i would call a decent sized helping. Probably a good minimum to set for staying up all night and praying in the meeting.

my first time sitting around the fireplace i had 7 or so.
in meetings ive seen relatives eat far more than that. not to mention usually its dried, ground up, and mixed with water so a few tablespoons could be several buttons. its not unheard of for people to top 30 medicine in a night. The more serious the occaision, the more medicine that is eaten.

ferrel, if you feel that medicine calling your name there is nothing wrong with praying with that. just make sure you wash your hands and clean it off with sage before you do so.
Remember this medicine wont do anything for you unless you believe.
