Best plan of approach

So last year I had very minimal success in my growing endeavors, mainly due to my own inability to keep up with my grow. So this spring I plan on trying again. My question is, what would be my best option? Common sense says PF cakes, but then again I had almost 0 success with those in the past. I would like to try casing again, but don't really know how to go about it. I've read the tutorials but it seems each one I read only confuses me more. My main goal is to produce somewhere between 30-50g dry in a period of 1-3 months. So, any suggestions?
