Vermiculite on tops of cakes.
    #1184845 - 01/02/03 09:08 AM (22 years, 20 days ago)

Hi everyone I am new to the board, I have been reading up on growing for several months now, and have a question that I can't seam to find an answer to. I have searched and looked through the FAQ's and still could not find anything. I would like to know why some people spread, what appears to be dry vermiculite on the tops of their cakes after they birth them into their terrarium?

So it helps with moisture??? My set up is a 10 gallon aquarium with the perlite on the bottom, The temp is steady at 74*F and my humidity is always above 85%. should I put the vermiculite on the top of the cakes??
