possible contamination
    #1183030 - 01/01/03 12:27 PM (22 years, 20 days ago)

I innoculated my myco bag for the second time with 2-3 cc's of my PR syringe about a week and a half ago. I have noticed a cream cheese type odor coming from the filter patch on my myco bag. I checked out the contamination FAQ and it said that the substrate would appear slimy on bacterial contaminations. Well, my myco bag has always seems slimy. I still havent noticed any growth from the initial innoculation about 3 weeks ago. I am thinking that if there is a bacterial contamination, it would be preventing the mycelium from growing. I am asking for anyone's opinion on if they think it is a contamination or not.

...hypothetically speaking of course.
