fruiting in the incubator!?!??!
    #1182664 - 01/01/03 07:51 AM (22 years, 21 days ago)

i had a casing in my incubator which i had forgot!!! LOL
i always knew that i made 2 casings but my burnt brain didn't remember that i had and a third!
anyway,i had this casing in the incubator for 15 days! even though there are very few spots of mycelium on the top! i checked this casing 2-3 times a few days ago just to see its condition. only 2-3 minutes of light each time!
today that i remembered that this casing exists i run immediately to see how it is... and what do u think that i saw??? tons of pinns!!!!!!
how the hell did this happen???

It was found that the mycelium only needs a few microseconds of light to induce pinning. The fruit needs longer exposure to light to know which direction to grow. If you don't want pins and still want to peek, use a red light similiar to what is used in a dark room.
