In your opinion, what is the best casing container?

I'm not sure where to go buy one, is walmart good. Haha i hear tons about walmart. In fact, i got my pressure cooker there. Anyhow, i know it has to be dark but I dont know what size to get. I would do 1 to 3 jars in it. I think a casing may be more worth the time than the cakes. But I will complete all my cakes right now without a casing just to get some experience under my belt.

I like bread pans because they are cheap, reusable, and fit in my autoclave for easy prep, and are deep enough to produce decent sized shrooms. Cake pans are my second favorite, but they don't fit in my autoclave and are about half as deep as the bread pans.

I like bread pans for the reasons that Seuss cited, but they are rather small and the metal corrodes quickly. The best thing I have found are the plastic wash tubs that I get from the hospital. They cheap and fit nicely in my 18 gallon fruiting chambers.

Check out the pet section at wal-mart. They have these $2 kitty litter pans that work great. A foaf uses them for straw spawned with crumbled cakes.

i don't think anyone's answered the q yet. sorry, i can't either, but i'm bumping it up as i too want the answer.
seems to me for an 'average' casing (2-3 cakes) you have a choice of either flat and shallow, or narrow and deep. i saw a thread a while ago that got filled up with greedies saying 'deep and wide' etc. so what are the ideal measurements?
i'd guess: 1.5 pints substrate: 3x6inches, 4inches deep. offers?
