My new form of meditation.
    #1181634 - 12/31/02 11:05 AM (13 years, 11 months ago)

I just recently picked up two bonsai trees. A Chinese Elm and a Chinese Sweet Plum. Taking care of these two beautiful little plants is very peaceful. I consider taking care of these an excellent form of meditation and a great way to connect with nature. They are also just nice to look at and they absorb negative energies.

Happy Trails.....

I love bonsai. I have delved in the art of miniature trees throughout my life, and Ive just started getting serious about it. Im starting my own tree from seed tomorrow, and Im looking into the art of growing orchids as well. Keep it up, Bonsai is very enlightening.

I'm reading and learning as much as I possibly can. I would like to start an organic garden sometime in the near future. Do you have any bonsai trees? What species?

Right now I have a Bahama Berry. I'm considering starting several others, including a coffee tree, and maybe a green tea bush. I had I bonsai pot plant for about 4 months, but it's no longer in my possession.
