Filtering your coolmist line
    #1181529 - 12/31/02 08:05 AM (21 years, 6 months ago)

has anyone successfully done this? I've seen a few ways to do it and I have various types of filters, but I am afraid that the water in the humid air will get stuck at the filter. How do you guys filter your lines?

I've got that already.  I 've got a kaz and it filters the air that comes in to it.  Plus I tape the sides of the filter with duct tape to make sure that air only comes in through the filter.  I am filtering 4-6 bins with it and I want to put 2 filters in the lines to be extra careful.  My room also has carpet, which sucks.

Inline filters that are fine enough to catch contams would trap water and create too much pressure for your humidifier to push through (IMHO). Work on the air intake for your humidifier. Mabe put it in its own container with filters up off the floor or somthing.
