ok, heres what im thinking. if weed people make cannabutter, and put it into usual recipes as regular butter, cant we use shroom tea in our recipes? just replace the water withshroom tea? anyone ever done this?
the first thing that jumps to mind is the effects of heating. thc decarboxylates with high temperatures, therefore pot will increase in effect with heat. psilocybin/psilocyn break down in high temperatures, therefore mushrooms will decrease in effect with heat. very different results.
As the previous post said, the magic in cannabis becomes more active with low heat while the magic in shrooms becomes less active with low heat. You can cook with shrooms... put them on pizzas or in soups, etc, but 'cold recipes' such as in ice cream shakes are better.
