He said no but He did run for mayor for San Fransisco in the 80's. Hell I'd vote for him. Buy lots of his spoken word its all so priceless.
Best punk show I saw was Henry Rollings and Keith morris do all black flag songs at harpos in Detroit . Crazy ass night. Not a fan of the new misfits had some female friends had some bad experiences with them. ... But then again it could have just been Harpos that horrid place seems to bring the worst out of people.
Yeah he didn't wanna steal any votes from Ralph Nader.

i had never heard his solo commentary though.
I got to meet him when he came through here a couple years back for one of his "Rantings".
Pleasantly gay!
Very cool..
Cool fact:
Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables was the first album I ever tripped too, oddly enough, it was fucking spectacular. I timed it accidentally so the peak was right around Holiday in Cambodia, which is in essence, very psychedelic.

I always find that the albums no one would think to trip to always become these epic experiences! Maybe it's the dr00gs
My first album I tripped to was, Pink Floyds Wall. I started to peak during the "Trial", and Rose up throwing a blanket over my shoulders and acted out the whole thing at the top of my lungs until my two friends tackled me to the ground for freaking out the other people there! Story of my life

I could never get into the Wall, I like the early stuff better. Although The Trial always made me cry with laughter.
But Fresh Fruit was on DXM, and the music created this entirely new urban war ridden world that I was the only person in, I was walking the streets that were being constructed in front of me by wailing surf guitar and Jello's screaming - That was my favorite trip to date, I believe.
