Hurry up pins! Help!

I dunked then birthed some cakes into my perlite humidified terrarium on the 23rd. It's now the 31st and they're still just poking along... no knots, no pins. The strain is PESA. I fan 3 times a day. The temp is probably around 68 F or so. The only light they recieve though is from when i fan them. I'm not sure why nothing has happened yet, I guess it's not abnormal for things to take this long sometimes. I know i'm probably gonna get pounced on for being impatient, but my situation is that i go back up to school in two weeks. Do you think there'll be time for fruiting and drying? What can I do to speed things up? cold shocking? more light? help!

10 days is the norm for knots to start forming.
Don't let your temp go much lower or the myc might think its time to go dormant
Might want to work out something better on the light situation

Took almost 3 weeks to see pins on mine. Just wait a while longer and don't get anxious. Except for the lighting and fanning, leave them alone and wait longer.

I think you should up your temp 68 might be to low for your type of shrooms. My Cambodians really grow fast in the mid-upper 70's. Maybe your shrooms don't need that much heat but I thik you should at least bring it into the 70's.

I just harvested some PESA and not only did they take forever but they grew a shitload of aborts. It's all good though I ate like 35g's and had the best trip of my life. Just think with all the built up anticipation your trip will kick ass too! Other than raiseing the temp a lil bit all you can do is just sit on your ass and prey to the all powerful mushroom god.

Raise your temps they are too low! Give them at least an hour of light a day to speed up primordial growth. You can remove the lighting after the pins appear.

You have to be patient. Sometimes they can take up to two weeks.

Try raising your temperature so it stays around 71 - 75.
