ok it's been awhile since i've done this so help me out.. i got a casing layer that's almost completely colonized (been 7 days) and there's a few spots that are a little too white. it doesn't look like the normal white balls that can easily be told are about to be the green. the smell is normal. the growth looks like little stems (not of a shroom) with a puffy ball at the end. some sort of rhizos or some kind of contam?
in these pics the spots look less harmless than they appear in person. it's been my experience that the bright white that turns green usually causes an area of the casing to go uncolonized, then pops up rapidly and turns green. any help is appreciated. the last pic is of a second casing.
