Went out around Napa California looking to see what I could find last weekend and got a few shots I thought folks might like to see. The mushrooms were everywhere. I didn't find anything active (not sure, Napa may be too far inland anyhow for Cyan's), but found a lot of variety. Pretty sure on some Id's, but still a beginner at this stuff - so please correct me if I got some of them wrong. I hope you enjoy the photo's, I enjoyed taking them.
Witch's Hat (Hygrocybe Singeri)

Wine-cap Chroogomphus

White Worm Coral

Slippery Jacks (not so slippery anymore)

Saffron Milk Cap (Lactarius deliciosus) My darn battery died before I could get a shot at the top of this one, you can see a bit of the blue/green mottling from the bottom though. And for sure can see the bright orange latex its bleeding where I broke it off.

Russula Silvicola

Helvella (with Hypomyces mold)

Western Rhizopogon (though I found truffles for a moment...)

Velvet-cap Marasmius

Turpentine Waxy Cap (Hygrophorus pudorinus)

Poison Pie (Hebeloma crustuliniforme) - MMMmmm Pie...

Trip to the cow pasture found some of the Dung-lovers (Ps.coprophila), and two inactive panaeolus (bell-cap and semiovatus)

Mycena on a nice mossy log

Laccaria (Laccata and Amethysteo)

Grisette (Amanita vaginata)

Gymnopus brassicolens

Marasmius (in a nice bundle, looked like cauliflower)

Crown-tipped Coral (Clavicorona Pyxidata) with a couple small Mycena

And this last one I'm not so sure on. Beautiful three-tiered formation, against a mossy tree. I'm guessing Canary Trich, but not sure if their tops can get so floppy? Anyone know for sure?
Tricholoma flavovirens?

Second looks like Stropharia semiglobata.

Did you check the sporeprint? Looks like it could be Hypholoma capnoides.

It was right off the side of a well travelled trail. I didn't want to harvest them, so others could enjoy thier beauty there. Thanks for the input though. I was at a loss myself.

Nice pics and ID work, Lhun.
-------------------- Mr. Mushrooms said: I will confess something that should be quite obvious, CC. I love mushrooms, i.e. fungi. I really do. I am talking about a strong feeling, i.e. emotion, for them. I think they are beautiful. I even dream of them.
