No. Don't go trying stuff on your casing if you don't know what it does. Deepscratching is for overlay on casing surface to get the dead mycelia off the surface.

Nope patience is the key. If patience doesn't fix it scrap it and try next time. Case when u see mycelia poke thru casing layer move to fruiting temps and patch those spots with new casing material. try to keep it pretty even and u should have a nice pinset.

Nah overlay is just an overcolonization of the casing layer. Rarely a problem with cubes but if it is a prob its usually on really agressive strains like PR or even B+ and isolates from what i hear. But colonization of casing layer is common just not ideal.
