still verm at bottom of jar at 4 weeks

Im at like 4 weeks and I have still a bit of verm I can see at the bottom of my jars, and it doesnt seem to be gettin any whiter, what shall I do , keep waiting, one of the is shrinking in the jar, I cant wait to birth....what to do?

Turin it upside down for a few days.
That should get it to where you want it to be.

If you do flip it, flip it once and leave it. You don't wanna keep flipping your jars around.

The mycellium may have stalled. Or it could just be that it is a slow colonizer. I am assuming that you are doing the standard 2:1 verm/brf mix. Does the uncolonized part look the same as when you filled it?

ok, thanks ill try that, its aver 90% done I think, just cant get this last bit to finish, yes its BRF PF tek, and the vermic ,well looks a little lighter color.

Try taking an in-focus picture. From the looks of the blur, I see bacteria contamination, but can't tell for sure until you take a decent picture.

ok, ill try again, it doesnt seem like contamination, no color difference, I lost 2 jars to green mold,  i turned them upside down, but nothing seems to furher their colonizing state???

Many kinds of infections ain't visible.
It's likely to be a bacterial infection, because once the mycelium hits a natural barrier (bacteria) it stops growing further.
Maybe it's a wet spot contams or something. As RR said, you need to post pics, that show more!

Could have other reasons.
Too dense substrate at this spot, dried out substrate, due to long colonizing time, slow colonizer...

Better pics would really help:thumbup:

Well, like u said i turned 2 upside down and one i took the foil off to see if it helps, im getting desperate, im posting some pics, i noticed the white looks a bit fuzzy in spots, damn should i birth, throw them out?? I had two jars that had green mold and I left in there to see if they would do better, maybe they contaminated the other two??

im just gonna dunk it for 24 hrs, and birth the sucker, and wait on the other two another week, U can see the top has some fuzz on it.
