Bad idea. This actually creates more water build-up (condesation) and you also run the risk of getting mushrooms with slight deformities if vaseline were to directly touch the cake, fruitbody, etc.

From my experience with terrariums its fairly hard to keep condensation off the top. Heat rises, thus creating more humidity up top then anywhere else. If possible, you can try to lower the humidity in the terrarium a little bit. It might be a little too humid. Really, water droplets on top of the terrarium are normal. I never had problems with soggy shrooms.
by the way... your shrooms are safe to eat as long as there weren't any contams.

i noticed that if water drops fall on my pins they rot:-(
and when they fall into mature shrooms they become very very soggy and when i eat them i feel disgusted

the soggy mature shrooms don't annoy me like the rotting pins

Mc Gyver says take a coat hanger and bend it into a square .... then wrap aluminum foil around it ... and angle it over your cakes/casings in your terrarium...

Oh wait now I see. But how can you get some light in? Maybe tieing a string to the middle and putting a weight on top of the chamber so there is a small indention and then leading the string to somewhere where the water can run safely...

To continue to coat the underside of your terrarium lid with rubbing alcohol. Everytime I fan, I also shake off all of the water droplets on the lid, therefore stopping them before they become to large.

Since you found your way, I will post this for others with the same problem. I place a small bit of wood under one side of my terrarium so that the water droplets tend to slide downhill rather than rain on the fruit.
