Man I wish they let me keep mine. I was deadly accurat with that thing. I actually enjoyed cleaning it every day. It was like taking care of the a favorite pet or something.

i have family in switzerland. spent a few months there and really loved every minute of it.
i wish the US would implement a mandatory military service for everyone. give everyone some perspective..

I can see the benefit of conscription but I believe that the volunteer army is a better way to go

The large amount of guns in Switzerland is not why they have such a low crime rate. They have a low crime rate because they are a stable, economically prosperous country with an excellent education system which has been industrialized for a long period of time. The argument that more guns lead to less crime falls apart when you look at countries in Africa such as Sierra Leone, a country in which nearly everyone has access to military weapons from assault rifles to RPGs. It is estimated that 350,000 people die annually in Sierra Leone from violence alone.
