The people in that ad are from the caribbean. They are west indian cricket fans.
Believe it or not, australians don't have the same stereotypes as americans.

I never understood that particular stereotype.
Fried chicken is fucking GOOD, I don't give a fuck what color your skin is. You don't have to be a nagger to appreciate deep fried delicousness.

black guy in the video has a touch of racist programing in him, but doesn't realize it. he says, "...trying to make the, the, this.. 'target' bad or worse than they actually are..."
Worse than they actually are? So you admit, 'they' are a problem, but not a big problem. Its still recognizing an us and them mentality. Of which, he see's himself as part of the 'us'.
He's also overly conscious of what he is saying because of a conflicted mind.
The guy has a good way of approaching this sort of subject, but he's just wrong in this case. If something is "too easy", chances are, you are being mislead by your own faulty reasoning or by an external mechanism.
The girl is not too bright. Trying to be funny, she calls them 'African Americans'. Completely missing the context.
These two need to realize they are just as much of the 'problem'. trying too hard.

It also reminds me, down the road, there is a kfc ad in front of the store with a man/gorilla(upright primate) and an extra large bucket of chicken etc. OMG what is that trying to say?!?! no
maybe i should get a picture of it.
Though I am in the Netherlands...anyone know their story of Sinterklas, and the Zwartepete(Black Peters)? google, and see what you think. And the parents tell the kids that they have black faces because they came down the chimney. haha

It might be racist but its true(for enough people to make it a stereotype)
Its the viewers opinion to make take it as offensive or not.
