I have 5 cakes that fully colonized top to bottom in about 25 days and i let them grow 2 more days. i then put them in there terrium with 2 inches of perlite lots of water and a little thing to keep them off the wet perlite. its been just 1 day since they have been in there. And i was thinking they seem kinda dry AND MY QUESTIONS ARE>>>>>> 1. SHOULD I COLD SHOCK THEM 2. DUNK THEM IN WATER 3. BOTH 4. OR SHOULD I WAIT A WEEK OR 2 to see if theyll grow from the water that i mixed in the jar

I wouldn't see any harm in a 12 hour dunk.

You could try changing your perlite method so that you have a 1/2 pint jar or bigger filled with the perlite, water and a small amount of h2o2 (hydrogen peroxide 3%) set this in your chamber with fish tank air bubbler inside the jar bubbling the mixture all day everday24/7. This may not be enough to save your cakes but I advise using this tech either way it works much better. ( The h2o2 helps prevent contamination with no risk to your shroomies)
