Inoculation Question

Im about to inoculate some jars. The directions on FAQ says to use 1cc per jar. I was wondering if anyone uses more than 1cc and have better results? Im sure it's all up to the experimenter. Anyone have any other input or sugestions on this subject?

If you use more spores you will have faster colonization time. But if you use too much solution, you can throw off the water content. Just stick with what the faq says.

I've never had a problem with putting in about 3cc per hole in(3 holes) with a standard syringe bought from your local supplier

What sized jars do you use, and how long does colonization take? Wow, 9cc a jar, that seems like a waste, IMHO.

I use two cc's per 1/2 pint jar, seems to speed colonization somewhat with no ill effects.

Strange.. I've seen half pint jars used, 4 innoculation points, with only 1 cc total used (1/4th cc per innoculation point). With BRF/verm full colonization took roughly 20 days (not bad really).
Using less than 1cc per half pint jar will slow down colonization consideribly. Once it gets going though, it'll just take off.

i use 3 cc per half pint and it seems like it takes a little less time to colonize maybe 4 or 5 daysshorter. if thats worth itto you
