im sorry about that bro i cant say i know how you feel because i have a best friend too and i got him into drinking with me when we were kids. Shit hit the fan, we were both arrested but were set free in no time. i quit drinking. he didnt. he fell in with the wrong people, did wrong things and robbed houses and crazy shit. Now he has to do his time. the thing is he never forgot me and kept asking me if i want to spend time with him. That shit strikes me. My frind is also killing himself like this he has a loving family and he is constantly abusing his mother (not literally ) but in a way where he refuses to see how much his mom really cares about him.
P.S hpi do you want to elaborate on how people are the scum of the earth when driving drugged? i mean alcohol yeah people are dicks for that but what other drugs can you elaborate on?

Count your blessings dude. My best friend is in Federal Prison for 5 yrs.
DUI and suspended license, he'll be out in a few days.

It is a miracle I never died in a drunk driving wreck. I was such a stupid kid in high school.
I have changed alot though.
Condolences to your friend, but I am not all that sympathetic...I have had 3 friends die in 3 separate drunk driving incidents.

I can't imagine what that would be like, I feel for your friend, but this doesn't have to be just a turn in a downward spiral, it can and should be a wake up call and an opportunity to realize that just because your parent lost their lives and your are alone against the world, doesn't make it right to put other in danger with your recklessness.
He is lucky that he got caught before he killed someone or himself, drunk driving is just stupid.
You sound like a good friend and you should be there for him and try and have him correct his behavior before he does something even stupider.

i feel you bro.
my best friend who is closer to me than the majority of my blood relatives is currently in prison and has been there for a good 2 years now.
its sucks more than anything. me and this friend were inseperable, had each others backs to the death, know what i mean.
when he got locked up i got really depressed and actually overdosed a couple times and wound up in some bad places.
since then i have straightened out my life dramatically and seem to be on quite a positive path, yet he still has to sit in there day after day after day while im out here free and happy.
it fucking sucks man.

The Ecstatic just emailed me the police report on Neal
apparently he flipped his car several times (without hurting anyone else) and totalled his car
while trying to flee a DUI checkpoint.
"at least I didn't hurt anybody" was something the cop recorded him saying
