Thin Stems?
    #1176681 - 12/29/02 05:48 AM (22 years, 24 days ago)

Hey fellas, just wondering what causes thin stems? i was originally thinking that it is likely an expression of the genetic makeup of the strain, but now im leaning more toward environmental factors. Im talking thin in proportion to the cap size. What are the factors that influence the shape and size of a fruitbody? is it possibly a result of the size of the pinset exceeding the ability of the substrate to support the maturing fruitbodies?

Thanks
SF
