Dry casing

I thought my casing layer might be too dry. Tell me if this sounds right or wrong. When toutched the casing layer would stick to my hands. After brushed off my hands felt wet. When a a fistfull is squeezed it feels slightly squishy but theres no drops of water. Sound good/bad? Thanks

It sounds good, but if it does get too dry, why aren't you misting a bit with 1 part H202 3% and 5 parts distilled water?

Yeah sounds like a light misting might do it some good.
