The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus

Freemasonic symbolism much? Despite the many questions I have about that question, this movie was awesome. A few of my friends found the story to be a tad boring in some areas but in my case it held my attention the entire time. Heath Ledger died 1/3rd into the filming so it was very interesting to see how they dealt with it.
Anyone else see it, the threads I have seen about this movie have been mostly about it not being available yet/in the States. What?

Wait, this came out already? WTF. I knew about this movie and really wanted to see it because of how they dealt with replacing Ledger.

I don't know when it came out, but I am in Canada so I don't know what difference that makes. It successfully expresses very grand ideas and, in my case, led to good conversation amongst my friends about the themes and ideas that came up.
Should also say "Biblical symbolism, much?" as well.

Soooo many movies are full of masonic symbols these days!!!

had the 'all seeing eye' in about 80% of the scenes..
That's because the author of the books is a mason.

I know, that's what I'm saying. The whole episode is about a secret society inspired by one of the most well known secret societies, of course there would be a.bunch of references

I watched this movie again the other night and I was thinking about the relationship between Mr. Nick and Tony (The Hanged Man). It seems to me that Mr. Nick went to great lengths to kill Tony, using Doctor Parnassus as a tool to do so by drawing leverage from his daughter.
