Apparently not. Look at all my spelling errors even with the help of the spell checker. :smirk: Don't you say burn for something though?

One of the common complaints among some of the more gifted or at least generally brighter people at post-grad level is that most people are borderline Aspergers, unknowledgeable fucktards (words of a fourth year, life science PhD student I know). Sorry, it's just like that everywhere: the world is imperfect.

It's one thing to simply enjoy a style of life that one enjoys, but it's another thing altogether to refer to another person's choice as "wrong" or to rationalize their behavior as being pathological or resulting from some sort of inadequacy or failing so as to create a sense of superiority or separation as yet another projection of a personal fear or control issue.

you start out training to be a scientist: gaining knowledge, practicing the skills, learning to think critically and read the literature. But then as you move up the ladder you end up having a serious management component, because you have lab techs, grad students and post docs working under you. It's already a high pressure environment, but then these people who never expected to be managers and have no experience being managers are in charge of everything, and this often causes serious problems.
