Do I need to sterilize my fruiting chamber before I use it? Also, what do you guys recommend for a good sterilizer?

no need for sterilization!
just clean it v good with a bleach solution or Ethilic alchool and u'll be fine.
i clean it with chlorine and alchohol and i am fine:-)

Some rubbing alcohol is fine.

Yea, you really only need some light disinfectant at this point. The mycelium on your cakes should be established well enough to fight off many contaminants. Always take that extra precaution though.
