I just had no choice... i had to fruit it!

Ok here is my little story, when i started incubating my b+ pf jars almost all of them did preaty well but some got contramed and some showed very little growth... i dumped out all the bad looking once and just left one with very little growth on just one side... today i checked out on the bitch again.. and one side and the center was heavily colonized with slight overlay... but one side was not even colonizing and i look on the colonized side and notice this big pin so i had no choice, and i just put the cake out of the jar scraped off uncolonized part and put the fucker in the incubator, becouse if i didnt .. then the pin wouldv probly got rotten and the whole cake would probly get fucked up... so here is my question has anyone got good friend of like 3/4 of a cake? i just want enough fruits for level 1 trip.. i'll post if anything goes wrong or well... but i still don't know how the fuck that pin got out couse i practicly didnt expose the jar to any light, just when i was checking up on it...

You did not have to birth your cake, that pin would have grown in the jar. Take a look at Hippies neglect tek.

Last week I birthed a B+ cake that had some black contam shit on it. Just to see what would happen, I cut away the black part and cased the remaining 3/4 cake with a thin layer of coir. It's been about 9 days and the coir has colonized nicely with lots of knots but no pins... yet.

Yeah Hippie's neglect tek is cool. Did he also write the more advanced one with the quart jars?
