future trip movies?

Any movies you all would like to see when tripping? Any movies that have the potential to be 'fucking awesome'

One that I've been following for a year now(the official trailer was shown before lord of the rings 2)...is Finding Nemo. I loved Monsters Inc. on acid, and it's the same people that make this movie. Underwater enviroment...lots of colours, etc. What more can you ask for. I'm most definetly hoping to go see this in the theatre while tripping. Looks very cool.

Another is, Lord of the Rings two(naturally). Even though it's in theatres, it's a fairly new movie. So thought I'd mention it. I saw it last night, wow...some very cool stuff. When frodo falls in the swamp area? Be pretty cool movie to see while tripping.

And there is another that won't be coming out for a LONG time(if at all). Wes Cravens 'alice in wonderland'.

"Ten years later, Alice has spent years in an asylum trying to convince people that her experiences were real. She's given a second chance to return to the world of Wonderland, only to discover that it has turned... dark and twisted. The realm of the Queen of Hearts has given all of Wonderland's denizens (the Mad Hatter, the Cheshire Cat, Tweedle Dee & Dum, etc.) a strange, sinister tinge. Can Alice survive this new madness?"

This WILL be the ultimate trippy movie in my eyes. I have been waiting and waiting for this movie. It's still a LONG way away. But I cannot wait. I don't care if it's the most crappiest story, etc. It IS going to the classic alice in wonderland, with a twist. Will have cool effects. I look forward to this one

just go to google and type in 'wes craven alice in wonderland'.  A lot of sites with information come up.

It's being written by the guy(or guys) who wrote the script for charlies angels(and all their other movies).  It's being produced by the guy who made the recent video game.

It's going to use a fair amount of cgi from what i've read

And they are aiming for a pg-13 rating.  It looks fairly cool :smile:

There is a movie called Alice which was made in the 80's. It's a dark surreal remake of alice in wonderland. Uses alot of stop motion animation. Very trippy. Not sur eif I liked it though here is a link

The movie is supposed to be roughly based on the video game, by American McGee. The game was AMAZING, great graphics and the storyline was insane. American McGee is currently planning on the release of a remake of The Wizard of Oz for a computer/video game.

I love old school slasher movies whilst tripping. As long as you don't eat too much and feal like your part of the movie there pretty fucking cool. Jason Goes to Hell and all of the Evil Dead movies are just fucking insane; in a good way mind you. Slasher movies from the 80's are the best because the special effects are kind of lame and the characters ALWAYS do just the opposite of what any normal person would in the same situation which just makes me sit there and laugh my ass off at how absurd the hole thing is.

That Rob Zombie movie is "House of 1000 Corpses" it was supposed to be released a long time ago but was dropped because it was too scary or violent or some shit. I think there's gonna be a video release soon.

And I agree about Evil Dead movies, I've never seen them tripping but I just know ED II: Dead By Dawn or Army of Darkness would be fucking great. The first one could be a bit boring though... It's just a really violent horror movie, nothing really trippy about it.

I just thought of a couple other movies that would be good while tripping, Ray Harryhousen movies (just look him up). They have lots of stop-motion special effects so I bet they would be cool.

uh, I watched Natural born killers on shrooms, kicked MAJOR ass, I was on the come down tho, it might make a bad trip, but I smoked a TON of weed to so...
