These are the 1st 2 I've ever harvesteed (golden teachers), as well as a few pics of the fc. I'm a little worried about the size, but I want some opinions! Thanks!

i dont see any holes on your fruiting chamber. what tek are you using?
lack of FAE (fresh air exchange) could be the culprit
did you dunk and roll?
a couple of those mushrooms are decent sized though... it could always just be random results of genetics... if that is the case then all you can do at this point is cross your fingers and hope for bigger fruits on future flushes.
we really need more details on your setup before we can rule out the environmental factors (moisture, FAE, humidity)

Is you're chamber elevated from the floor? do you have any type of lighting on the fruiting chamber those look good but, they could be better.

they would have benifit of better condition but they are still looking good. Whats important is the average yield, not the weight of every single mushroom. Ive got a fluch of golden teacher that gave me at least 100 pins on each cake, They were small of course but at the end the yield was pretty good !

The long stems indicate insufficient fresh air, and the small caps indicate insufficient light. They're long and meaty enough that it indicates your substrate moisture content was fine. Correct the first two issues and your next flush should be much better. Congratulations on your first harvest! RR

How would you get the right moisture for the cakes? Soak them in water overnight before putting them in the FC? And does the typ of lighting matter, or just light in general?

dude it looks like a successful first grow to me way better than mine was. you need to get a shotgun FC you will be glad you did. And I think you should let your caps open up a little bit more. they really get to looking alot more impressive. to me anyway they say all that stuff about them not making any more active chemical after the veil breaks but i have yet to notice a difference. to me they just get really big also i dont know why but I'v noticed a MARKED increase in yield since i started using wide mouth jars. dunk for 24 hours. iv tried 12 and 24 and theres a BIG difference. Also you should roll your cakes in verm when you birth them after the first dunk. it helps considerably.

I have an air pump running a few hours per day (The pics are with the top offthe container)with the tubing running into a drilled hole. The temp and humidity are holding steady at 80 and 95% respectivly. I have been pulling the box (that is clear) so that it gets natural sunlight for a few hours every day.
I'm thinking I'll run the pump longer and let in more light and see how that works.
I'm pretty happy since this was my first time. Thanks for the help!
