Small Mono Tub mess up...PE race

Hey guys So i spawned these little tubs awhile ago. This is my first attempt with a mono or bulk grow. I spawned using PE from hawks eye on BRF cakes (at the time I did not have a PC). ANyways i made 2 in 27 quart bins with 2 holes on each side on the top and bottom. They took extremely long time to colonize. One of them seems to not have completely colonized. At one point i screwed up and thought there was cobweb and sprayed them with h2o2. Therte was water starting to pool up so i dabbed them when clean paper towels. I pretty much screwed them up I guess. ANywqays i decided to try and fruit them. They have yellow metabolites all over and one seems to not have fully colonized. Oh yeah they were spawned to straight coir. Anyways maybe i will get a couple fruits, maybe not. I just wanted to find out what i did wrong other than the obvious. I have 5 quart jars of WBS colonizing and will use that to make a bigger mono. I just dont wanna screw up again. Thanks for the help and here are the pics...
Tub 1

Tub 2 this was is not as deep but is more colonized

How much spawn did you use? You may want to add some verm next time, to help with moisture content. You can also add some spent coffee grounds, apparently the acidity is beneficial. Obviously the H2O2 was a mistake, myc hates H2O2, only use it if you know you have cobweb. I mistakenly thought I had cobweb too on my first tray.

May have been a low spawn:sub ratio, hard to tell for sure though, all bricks of coir aren't the same size. The one I have is 11 lbs dry in the original package. I don't think 1 qt. spawn would be ideal for half a brick my size, but your 2nd tub looks pretty well colonized.

I think Tub 2 may actually fruit...although it does have yellow metabolites all over it. I think it may produduce a couple blobs or penises.... Well I hope my next tub with grain goes well...i have 5 qurts of grain spawn for the nxt one =]

that's a pretty low spawn ratio... I use about 4 quarts to every half brick of coir in the same sized tubs, I will go as low as 3 quarts, but I don't like to.
Good luck though!

5 quarts, MUCH better my friend
For FYI purposes, this is useful to know;
1 quart = 2 pints 1/2 Pint = .25 Quarts
That's amazing that your tub's got as colonized as they did with a half brick of Coir (roughly 4 quarts).
This will be a big help Gornyhuy's Substrate Calculator
