Fine mycelium

Hello!! Hows everyone doin?
I have inoculated a couple jars with some home-made prints. These prints were not made with the utmost of care and i would not be surprised if somehow some contaminate got in the syringes but anywho this has been the outcome.
Both jars inoculated with one of the syringes took awhile to see any white fuzzy growth but eventually it happend(2 weeks). The only thing is that the mycelium is extremely fine and white, looks like cobweb mold. But there are little dots where it is a thick white like normal mycelium. It also has been colonizing at a speed that mycelium would colonize, i read cobweb mold colonizes a whole jar in a day or so and this is not the case at all. I wish i had pictures, but you can imagine it, looks just like cobweb mold.
Has anyone else encountered this with cubensis mycelium, Brazilian strain to be exact, maybe its just a substrain trait that im unaware of. A fine white mycelium? or am i just nurturing some cobweb and wasting my time? haha

Little separate dots? White tiny dots? Yeast, most likely.

they look like mycelium.. i dunno this stuff is missing the rhyzomorphic strands, but ive seen mycelium before that will be thick and white covering half a jar, then the other half of the jar will be thin cobweb mold looking stuff that after awhile thickens up and turns a thick white like normal mycelium, so i was thinkin maybe that is just happening.. dunno just wondering if anyone has had any experience with an event like this

Cobweb looks like your pubes, now mycelium looks like your pubes if they had tiny cute dreadlocks. Or just look at them and see if it is gray.

MushroomMarkk, Does it look like this?:

If so, I think it is okay.
Notice I said "think," as I've been staring at this jar with a little skepticism myself.

That jar is fine, IMO. Stop staring at it, put it away for a week.

This is a jar that started out with a different type of wispy mycelium and it ended up turning a whole rainbow of colors. Even the grey fuzzy cobweb stuff grew as slow as normal mycelium (I kept it growing for fun).

I think all you can do is wait and see what turns out.

oohh a whole rainbow of colors! That sounds kinda exciting... well i shall wait and see.
It looks like the fine mycelium in that picture, but not connected to a bunch of white thick mycelium. I have a buncha jars that looks like that and they have all turned out fine, some i had to birth early though cuz the colonization got so slow.
