Not bone dry but increasing evaporation from the surface, which speeds up the growth because they think water is running out.

I don't believe that's what happens. Evaporation from the surface is a pinning trigger, but I don't think it will make your mushrooms grow faster. But just pick them whenever you are ready, they'll be fine.

Remember that past a certain point it's all water weight anyway. They might look weird but work fine.

Mist as required. Evaporation of moisture is a pinning trigger, but won't speed up growth. The fruits should double in size every 24 hours. It looks like you'll have enough to pick for new years. RR

I think the casing layer had a ph that was a little too high. After testing a sample with my ph meter i just bought it read at 8.5 But the fruits were very healthy and grew very fast. I would say the average weight for each was 2grams dry each. The tub under neath this one has no casing but has about 5,000,001 pins. I think I can expect about 40-45 grams from this.

just cause theres alot of pins doesnt mean they will all be huge. but congrats on ur other tray. they look nice. all about same size and height. was that ms?
