If I used a three Pound Organic Rye Berry Spawn Starter kit and mixed it with hpoo once colonized, then how many 55qt tubs would I want to plan on using to fill them?

You are supposed to put the manure (bulk substrate) in your monotub, THEN spawn your colonized grain. I am not sure by your descriptions what you are doing. How many quarts is the 3lb bag. You want to shoot for 1:2 ratio but no lower than 1:4. (spawn:substrate)

Im not sure how many quarts they are they come completely ready to shoot up. I was just trying to get a general idea of how many tubs I might be able to make with one bag, or how many in each tub.
If i used them i would mix the spawn w hpoo.

3lbs is not alot of spawn. 55 gallons are big totes, unless this reggie-weeds got me high id say 1, maybe 2 of them depending on sub ratio.. i have over 1 lb of spawn in each jar. (500+ grms WBS) I think most people easly put 3lbs of spawn into standard 18gallon totes, i know i do...

No less than one, but possibly more. I just don't know how much 3lbs is. I can tell you one thing, after I get done using 6qts of spawn to a 4" deep substrate in a 56qt monotub is pretty heavy. 55 gallon is a lot bigger than that. I would go with a smaller tub personally. But I am also speculating because I don't know how many quarts = 3lbs but I know it's not much.

Use this
Gornyhuy's Substrate Calculator
It lets you put in your dimensions of the tub itself, telling you the exact amounts necessary.
