Will this work? add one coir brick, 1 qt verm, some gypsum, and 5 qt boiling water into bucket then let it chill over night?

This is what I do step for step thought I already told you about it in another thread, but anywho.

Take a brick of coir and place it in a bucket, add 2 quarts of verm into the bucket.  Bring to boil 5 quarts of water once it is boiling turn the heat off and pour it into the bucket and close the lid.  Come back in like 30-60 minutes and make sure the coir is broken up and have absorbed the water..  At this point the temp should be around 170 ish.  Close the lid and let it cool till it comes down to around 95-100 degrees.

With this technique I have never had a mono tub get contaminated before the 3 flush.  You can look at my growlogs I do everyone the same.  With the formula above I can fill an 18 gallon mono tub up to about 4 1/4 inches.  Also my buckets lid does not have a hole in it but if you wanted to drill a small 1/8 inch hole to let air vent out then do, I just don't, it will help it cool faster..

Hope this helps..

No problem if you look in my signature and click the last link go to the coir section and look at large doses revised coir tek.  I do that basically but without the coffee and other additives.
