figure out who the first being was? If the past is real wouldn't there be a way to see it because it existed therefore it is eternal?? whether through dreams or visions or technology?

we can already see the past with some of our technology. when you see a star, you're seeing that star billions of years ago. ergo, if you were to look at earth from a point that far away, the light you would see would be billions of years old and would reflect what was happening when that light was first reflected from earth. in that telescope you would see our world just now coming into being. the problem is that light travels faster than anything we know of, so it would take a proportionate amount of time for us to plant any technology on that distant a vantage point as it would for the light to arrive there, i.e. if we could transport the technology at light speed, it would still take billions of years for it to get there, so it would only be fast enough for us to look back on what is happening right now.

All this time I've loved you
And never known your face
All this time I've missed you
And searched this human race
Here is true peace
Here my heart knows calm
Safe in your soul
Bathed in your sighs

but there is always the slight possibility that there is alien life somewhere distant in the universe- they could potentially point a powerful telescope at earth and see dInOsAwRs. lol.

this is completely my own opinion on the matter and i really don't have much backing to make these claims, but we both know it's just for intellectual novelty, so here goes haha.
i think dreams are the result of neuro-transmitter activity and if we could invent a machine that could accurately map the actions of neuro-transmitter activity on dreams, then we could potentially see an accurate reflection of the dream.
i'm a naturalist, mind you, so i believe everything, no matter how complex or seemingly ethereal, to be the result of internal neuro-transmitter activity simultaneously acting on their own, in accordance with genetics, and reacting according to billions of external stimuli.

This is the shadow from an object in the third dimension.
Notice that not all right angles are 90° because of the perspective.  However, in reality they are 90°!

Now this is the shadow from an object in the fourth dimension. Notice that not all angles are 90° because of the perspective. However, in reality they are 90°!

What you see in both pictures is the shadow of the 3D and 4D 'cubes', not the actual objects. But it should help to imagine how the fourth dimension looks like. Although we can't imagine because we can't

Now try to imagine the cosmos being four dimensional. The big bang didn't happen in one point within 3D but in one point within 4D. And that's a totally different thing altogether.

This is also the reason why from every point in space all objects are moving away. From every point in space! Because space moves within the fourth dimension. Apparently
