First things first: 6x Shooting Star LC clone PF cakes, 2-3cc/jar || all showing symptoms 4x Shooting Star MS, 1-2cc/jar || 1/2 jars showing symptoms, more resembling metabolites. PC'd for 70-90, GB innoc, needle flamed between jars, etc...
Hey. This is only my second grow, and i've been unlucky enough to encounter cobweb and trich already, however, this time i've been thrown a curveball...
All LC jars have solid orange-yellow rings or 'tracks' (i.e: a line that does not close into a ring). These rings/tracks resemble earwax in color, and appear solid and smooth.
I first noticed them a week or so ago, and they do not appear to be growing/expanding, however, i have since noticed some orange tinged myc (in MS jar). They do not appear to be growing at an observable rate, and also do not seem to be harming the myc, as the myc grows around it but not over it. it also seems myc inside the ring is not as far towards the glass as the outside, though only by a 'mil or two.
It is in all of my LC jars, and also appears in one or two of my MS 1/2pt PF's, although it is only minor. What's odd is that all jars were inoculated with the same needle (sterilized properly between) with the LC first (2x needle refills for the 6) and the final 4 were inoculated with MS, and the MS appears white on the outside. Though it could well be growing under the surface, assuming it's 'alive' the fact that almost none of the MS jars show symptoms, having been inoculated from the same needle after the LC, which all show symptoms, suggest that this is either a case of WOW metabolites, or a contaminated LC.
Am i fucked, or is it just a case of too much myco-pee?

 yes this jar is cracked...

ive tossed a couple of batches of jars recently with the same peach discoloration. i was never able to figure out what it was. i checked annos' link and couldnt find it there. i hope i wasnt too hasty in discarding the jars, but its been my experience that any colour other than white is usually not a good sign.

yeah. I've seen it before in my first jars, but i took that to be metabolites, i've just never seen it in such large amounts, or in such a pattern. I've got 1-2weeks to make up my mind. Cheers for the reply, libertycapper. Need more responses! :'O

Metabolites. Are you colonizing at room temperature?

yeah, colonizing at 26-30'C. Like i said, it doesn't seem to be growing, i was just concerned as i've never seen patterns like this, and they're mostly in the LC jars.
also: most of the teks and what not that i've read in the past say to throw away cracked jars. I've a cracked jar that i didn't realize was cracked until about 60%colonization, and it's full of white rhyzo myc. Should all cracked jars be disposed of? i'll probably get the 'is it worth your life' form letter, but from a jar that looks healthily white (save for these orange things i'm hoping are metabs) do i have any real worries?

I would try to fruit off the cracked jar but after this run go ahead and throw the jar away.
