Question about fruiting size...

Growing some Gulf Coast. Massive pinning (from PF cakes). Shroomies seem to be maturing to about 1" to 1.5" and the veil begins to tear. It seems this is rather small... This is the first flush and the cakes looked very healthy, now they are already starting to blue. I have used the double-ended casing tek, but it does look like there is not enough water to support the patch that is growing on these cakes. Should I re-wet the casing material? Should I inject some sterilized H2O into the cakes? Humidity is at 98-100%. Temp is 74 degrees.
Any ideas?

typically the fruit size of my frist flush off pf cakes is smaller then the preceding flushes. I just pick what the cake has to offer then dunk.

next time you could try dunking the cakes for 12-24 hours before hand that may yeild larger fruits.

I guess I don't really care how large the fruits are - I am more interested in the magical content :-) I've read a lot about aborts being great, etc... Does this mean across a range of sizes, a mushroom may have very similar amounts of the alkaloids? If I have a lot of thes "baby" looking shrooms, should I dose differently?
Basically, if I had a mushroom that was 1.2" and one that was 4 inches, yet both are mature, and in both, the veil has just began to tear, are they going to have a similar effect?
