Indoor green houses for fruiting?
    #1173104 - 12/27/02 04:57 AM (22 years, 26 days ago)

Just got this indoor greenhouse thingi and
was going to use it as a fruiting chamber.
has anyone else used one?Planing on using
a tray at the bottom filled with perlite, ontop of
a varierbal heat mat. Then sealing with gaffa tape
around the tray top.

If it doesnt work out im thinking of using it as a glove box
or just a place to store agar plates
Also i always hear of lysol but i think thats just a brand name right?
Would say dettol room & anti-bacterial surface spray be the same sort of
thing?

good luck ganja! i also wondered about those seedling starter trays at the garden centres. hope it works for you.

lysol not available in UK: dettol spray is fine - also try flash antibacterial surface wipes!

Looks pretty nifty. If it keeps in moisture well.. than you should be good to go.

So road, you just put the humidifier in their, hmmmm that sounds nice, I've been racking my brain about how to attach a hose to the green house from the humidifier, but if you can just put it in the green house then problem solved. Do you have air exchange vents?

Did you buy yours like that roadkill? Or did you add the plastic to some type of rack?

The umbrella style mini greenhouses look like a good alternative to rubbermaids for covering outdoor patches.
