it was from a spore solution, even if i used a lc it would still be ms because I was starting from spores. IMO why even use lc when i can get my  jars  done in 10 days from a regular spore solution, by the time lc culture is ready to use i could already have my jars 100%. not knocking lc's just don't really see the point if there from spores. Yes it was first flush  I will probably dunk the substrate and apply a thin casing layer for second flush.

My WBS takes longer than ten days from a spore solution.  What is your method?  I just started doing grains myself due to finally aquiring a PC.

The point is you start an LC when you start your other jars- when they are ready to use, then your LC is ready too and you can start the next batch with it.
But yeah, 10 days from spores just makes LC (or g2g for  that matter) irrelevant.

Yeah I understand what your saying about rotating and having your lc ready, my lc always took at least a few weeks if not a month to be ready so by that time i could have already started two rotations of jars from spores besides i just dont trust lc you cant ever really tell until you try you need test jars to much trouble for me.
My wbs i just soak overnight nothing specific when ever i get it in the pot to soak and when ever i wake up I start so between 12-24 hrs. then I simmer just unitl the grains start to expand THAT'S IT DONT OVER COOK!!!! then i drain throughly I'm talking 3-4 hrs at least. load em up and 15psi for 90 mins. let the cooker cool for 2 hrs remove and shake then repeat as needed and the next day i knock em up in front of my hood. Shake em as needed and 10 days is average for me 2 weeks max but usaully 10 days does it, shit sometimes less.
