My greenhouse

So its been a little work in progress, but after reading what Hippiechick did with her greenhouse, I felt the need to do the same, hoping for the same results as her. I followed the same procedures as her, with slight modifications like what NuKe_HaDer did. I made my PVC fittings/pipes 1". The CM is set to run 30 min on, 45 off. The ultrasonic runs 15 min on and 45 off. My lights are set for 12/12 using 6500k lights. I'm in the process of building a stand for my greenhouse, so I can put perlite on the bottom, and have a catch tray for the water. right now I have a couple totes of perlite. They don't seem to do much, but they look good there anyways. What do you guys think?

and here is my original shotgun terrarium with the original cakes, they are currently on their 3rd flush.

Looks good. You might want to add a tray of perlite at the bottom to catch excess moisture buildup if you dont already have something setup for that. I also like to get it as far off the floor as possible.

Why not just put the humidifier on the bottom shelf. Even with a greenhouse full of trays, the top shelf still has no problem maintaining 95%+ RH. It seems like a lot of extra work to get all those hoses and pipes setup up considering the only thing required is putting the humidifier on the bottom shelf. Also, as other said, you will want to fill the open space on the shelves with trays of perlite and a perlite drip pan on the bottom of the GH.

i used to do something very similiar, with great results. they are awesome because you have easy access to everything and fresh air is never a concern.
does that ultrasonic actually push the fog up that far without an assistance?

I use a cool mist humidifier. I don't actually see any 'fog' or moisture. How much did you leave the door open? Or did you cut slits in the plastic? I was trying to refrain from cutting and hoping the door unzipped would be enough FAE. But since I haven't seen fruits or a flush yet it's still a guessing game for me.
EDIT: Assuming you were talking to me...BUT you could have been talking to the OP but the 'reply to' was to me, so I replied.

I want the stand to be 4-6 inches up, then the very bottom is going to be of a tarp that tappers to the center with a couple holes cut out. Then the very bottom is going to have a tray that I can easily remove to dump water. the perlite will be above the tarp to catch all the extra water. I'm not much of the handyman, so I'm slow at building it.

That's how I originally had it like that, but I couldn't get the RH higher than 80 by itself. Yes I know that with a relativity empty GH will not get much higher, and the GH should be full to see higher humidities. But like I said, I was inspired to do what HippieChick did :http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/5545848/fpart/all/vc/1

Yep, its just a 6" drier vent pressure fitted into the GH and with a single piece of duct tape holding it to the Ultra.

I'll answer it too then. Mine has a ton of holes in it, but those are easily remedied with clear packing tape. Now there are just a few slits at the bottom, CO2 sinks to the lower area. To test if I have enough FAE, I pumped a bunch of fog into the GH, turned that off, then turned on the CM. within 10 minutes the fog is completely gone. With upcoming grows, I'm excited to see what the results shall be.

Indeed. I am also super excited about getting some results. Just an FYI. I couldn't get my GH above 80 either until I filled it with perlite trays (since I don't have enough colonized trays yet). It easily maintains 95% RH with the coolmist running all day long. I still have to custom fit a drip pan which I expect to help out even more. I am going to build a wooden stand that I can slide drip pan in and out of that will also duplicate as a way to keep the GH elevated off the floor.
