whyblameus said: your bags will be done already and you dont need a pc for the rest so your good.
you boil the water then pour it in a bucket with the coir and verm and cover till its cool.
then pour it in a trash bad with your spawn and mix it in the bag.
then pour it into your ready tub and then wait for colonization. after colonized you can case it or just fruit it like that.
pc is only necessary to sterilize your grain spawn which is coming already sterilized.
would you recomend casing the monotub after 100% colonization and should i tub in tub incubate cause i have the aquarium heater and is a fan required
also do you thik i should ad soaked perlite below trash bag and do have yahoo messanger so i can ask a few more q's if not just kepp checkin this

yea case it after 100% colonized.
dont incubate.they dont need it room temp is perfect.
you need a fan to keep the air in the room circulating.
no perlite the substrate keeps the humidity up.
you can send me a private message asking me questions if you want. i dont have yahoo messanger though.

If you are straight casing the grains then you can lay a bed of verm and then a layer of the crumbled colonized grain, then a layer of verm/peat casing. It works, but the mushrooms tend to not be as large as bulk trays, and one gets fewer flushes.
This tray was straight grain cased with verm and peat, and several trays produced a good yield considering the trays only had 1" of grain substrate:
The harvest (of several trays):
But if you are going to spawn the colonized grain to bulk substrate, no casing is necessary. Casing can potentially improve yields, but since it is not necessary you can skip it to make the process easier.
