Healthy Mycellium or No?
    #11727260 - 12/27/09 04:41 PM (15 years, 24 days ago)

I just recently started some PF jars and the mycellium is beginning to show finally.  I am just wanting to double check with more advanced mycologists that this is healthy and not contaminated.

I don't know, there's a lot of greenish crap around that myc from what I see.  It doesn't look like green myc growing though, more like green spores which spread.  You'd need some green myc though to spread that so maybe it's the camera angle or somehting.

Do you see any green?

yes I see the green, parts of the jar are okay other parts not so good, I would recommend tossing it out and starting over.

The green just looks like a crappy camera angle and light reflection. Better pictures would definitely help.
