lighting during growth
    #11725011 - 12/27/09 08:41 AM (15 years, 24 days ago)

Hey guys,
I am going to be cultivating some mushrooms indoor. I will be doing so in a 18 gal black plastic container.I will be using a small fluorescent light for lighting. I am just not sure how much light (in hours) is required during both the colonization and fruiting stage. Could somebody please help me with this info.

                                        Thanks

Light is irrelevant during colonization.  12/12 is best during fruiting.  A black container is a poor choice.  You need bright light for best fruiting performance, and you can't get that in a black tub.
