looks like an impeller type / evaporative to me. Ask em if it has a wick to make sure. New wick might cost ya 10 dollars (US).
This type is good because it doesn't make a mess. Warm mist and ultrasonic create more condensation.

Make sure it isn't the wick type. I wouldn't buy it if it is. You'll have all sorts of nasties growing in the wick in no time.

I wouldn't bother with it IMO, perlite is more than enough humidity....humidifiers just cause mold problems if not tweaked propperly...

It's the wrong type for a mini greenhouse. That's an evaporative humidifier and it won't take your greenhouse past 70%. You want a spinning impeller type. For general use in your house during the very dry winter months, it's fine.
For a terrarium, use perlite. RR

cause mold problems? naw dude.
if anything, the fresh air from a coolmist helps keep down competing molds such as cobweb that like anerobic environments.
perlite does create more than enough humidity however.

I just keep thinking of how good the flushes are from wattballasts setup where's he's got 1 ultrasonic that splits off into 2 shotguns and runs 15 min every 2 hour. Did you see the pics of pe6 in that thing?

Loving that. What model humidifier u using there? I been looking for one that will adapt well to strapping a big tube to it. Did you duct tape yours on?

it's custom built from a 1500ml/hr fogger, a transformer, a dimmer, and a squirrel cage blower:

i use the power of flexible rubber to keep it stuck in the hole i cut for it.

i don't get one thing tho. There's no light in those tubs. you're giving fae during colonization? or fruiting in the dark?

i pull tubs out to spawn and stack them back with trashbags around them until they are ready to be fruited. there are windows on the front of them about 6x6 but it definitley doesnt give them enough light imo. i am in the process of modding clear tubs for this very reason.
i didnt realize how important light was when i built this due to the fact that all my other setups just happened to have more than enough artificial and natural light.
